Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in time is after 4PM and check-out is by 10AM.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • Highland Mist has paved access for all but the last 0.7 miles.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov–March) for all homes.
  • Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows.
  • No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Policies and Rules

  • Minimum age to reserve is 25 years. This person must sign the agreement and be one of the guests during the reserved dates.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking allowed outside the home.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Children allowed. No events allowed.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled 60 or more days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Pets

  • This home allows up to 99 dogs. Additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood may be added by reaching out to the property manager more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Well stocked kitchens with cooking basics and utensils are provided.
  • "Starter set" of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These items are provided for one or two nights.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.
  • Towels and linens are provided.
  • High-speed internet is available.
  • Washer and dryer are available.
  • Free parking is available.
  • Hot tub, pool table, balcony, climate control, landline, dishwasher, toaster, garden, and library are available.
